Types of technologies used by us in the construction of objects of various categories

For the construction of prefabricated buildings made of metal structures, Aleksstroy uses technologies that have recently been still innovative for the Belarusian market. At the same time, the results that we have achieved since 2000, and customer feedback allow us to speak about the effectiveness of using Canadian LMS and LSTS technologies in our reality, as well as American technology for the construction of frameless arched buildings and structures made of metal.

In a number of cases, it is advisable to use the traditional technology – steel seam roofing, which we also successfully use at new construction sites and during the reconstruction of old structures.

The use of sprayed polyurethane (PU) foam of various densities allows us to solve such important problems in construction as thermal and water insulation in a modern and economical way.

LMS (Light Metal Structures) technology, which we use to build the frames of prefabricated buildings for hangars, warehouses, sheds and industrial premises for various enterprises, represents a unique combination of two types of metal structures – traditional ferrous metal and cold-formed profiles of various shapes and sizes made of galvanized steel. Based on the project developed by the designers, it is the shape of these galvanized profiles that provides the entire frame of the building with the necessary load-bearing capacity and compliance with building regulations.

Unique advantage of LMS technology

Lighter weight in comparison with a structure made of only ferrous metal can significantly reduce the cost of construction by reducing the cost of both the metal itself and foundation by reducing the load on it.

FAS is a pre-fabricated structure, the arched shell of which is self-supporting. Due to its lightness, the metal structure does not require deep foundations and additional frames (supports, trusses, beams);

The advantages of FAS technology:

Reduced construction time (production and installation of MK 5, S=1000m2 in 7 days)
Reduced construction costs (minimal weight of the structure and lightweight foundation)
Tightness (lack of bolts, nuts and sealing materials allows to operate the building without repairs for the entire service life;)
A variety of structures (it is possible to adjust the radius of arched panels, which allows to build structures of various widths 6-28 m and heights 3-12 m of infinite length)
Durability and reliability (thanks to the use of thin-sheet galvanized steel in rolls of structural quality for cold profiling of panels with a thickness of 0.6-1.5 mm in the production, the service life of buildings is equal to the shelf life of the galvanized tape itself (at least 25 years)

Aleksstroy performs production and construction works with two units: MIC-120 and MIC-240. The features of these installations are that they produce two different profiles:

Light steel thin-walled structures (LSTS) are used for the construction of buildings and installations based on a frame made of galvanized steel profiles. Construction on LSTS technology allows to build structures of any architectural forms and different storeys (up to 5 floors). The profile used in construction is lightweight, yet due to its shape, it provides the necessary load-bearing capacity. The minimum weight of such buildings makes it possible to significantly reduce the cost of construction.

Light steel thin-walled structures

The following buildings are most often constructed from LSTS

  1. Public buildings;
  2. Private homes;
  3. Stores;
  4. Farm for cows;
  5. Farm for pigs;
  6. Farm for sheep;
  7. Farm for bulls;
  8. Farm for goats;
  9. Carwash;
  10. Garages;
  11. Greenhouses.

Wall construction based on LSTS technology:

  1. External cladding material (any materials can be used for finishing the facade);Light steel thin-walled structures
  2. Thermal break 30 mm;
  3. Supporting galvanized profile 150 mm (thickness 1.0-1.5 mm.);
  4. Rigid polyurethane (PU) foam 70 mm;
  5. Galvanized profile 50 mm;
  6. Stone wool 150 mm;
  7. Internal cladding material (fireproof drywall, cement board, etc.).

Thermal resistance coefficient of the structure:

External walls – 3.6;
Roof (PU foam -100 mm) – 6,1.

Test of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus:

External load-bearing enclosing structures RE60,
Internal load-bearing REI 45.

Wall construction using traditional technology:

  1. Internal plaster and primer;Light steel thin-walled structures
  2. Gas silicate 400 mm;
  3. Glue;
  4. Stone wool 150 mm;
  5. Wall plug “umbrella”;
  6. Reinforced mesh + glue;
  7. Facade plaster and primer;

Thermal resistance coefficient of the structure:

External walls – 3,0;
Roof (stone wool 250 mm) — 5,8.

Our company “Aleksstroy” sees its key task in offering you, our customers, the best solutions for both construction and roofing. Therefore, along with others, we use in our work a traditional technology called “Seam roofing”.

Our specialists connect steel sheets with special equipment at the installation site, rolling them into a standing seam. Thus, the roof is installed without the use of hardware

Seam roof technology has a number of possibilities:

  • it allows to install a new roof or repair the old one;
  • it can be arched or straight in shape;
  • steel sheets can be galvanized or polymer-coated in various colors.

Seam roof technology

The main advantages of standing seam roofing:

  • Tightness – no holes for hardware
  • Lightweight – lighter truss systems
  • High installation speed – reduced labor costs
  • Durability – service life up to 25 years or more without an overhaul

Surface treatment with sprayed polyurethane foam (PU)

The use of sprayed polyurethane (PU) foam of various densities allows us to solve in a modern and economical way such important construction problems as:

Heat insulation — heat preservation by preventing heat loss. A distinctive feature of this heat-insulating material is the lowest coefficient of thermal conductivity in comparison with other materials presently used for insulation. Consequently, a high degree of tightness is achieved — the heat will be stored as in a thermos.

Cold preservation — due to the ability to preserve the temperature regime created inside the building (structure, room) as much as possible.

Package solution: Insulation + Waterproofing + Sound Insulation + Wind protection, which can be used for new construction, as well as for major repairs, modernization, and reconstruction of buildings and structures.
